Sunday Services

We meet at:
Christ Church, Warley Hill, Warley, Brentwood, Essex, CM13 3AA
There is parking available on the site.
You can expect a warm welcome; great worship; relevant preaching based on the Word of God and a friendly group of people ready to learn more about what it means to be a follower of Jesus.
Twice a month our 9.30am Sunday service includes Holy Communion, (generally on the 1st & 2nd Sunday) where we remember the saving aspect of Jesus' life, when he gave his life to save his followers. In Holy Communion we share together by receiving some bread and a sip of wine to connect with his sacrifice, reminding ourselves that we are part of the community of Christ's followers today.
Our 9.30am Sunday morning services have something for all ages and children are always included. During the month, children stay in the main Sunday service with their parents or carer on the 3rd and 4th Sunday of the month. On the remaining Sundays, the children are invited to go off to their own children’s ministry, which is called Kidzone here at Christ Church, and is held out in the church hall. (We take child protection seriously and ensure all our leaders are DBS checked before joining the team - we also have a dedicated Child Protection Officer to ensure that children in our care our are being looked after to high standards)
Our JCo (Jesus & Company) service takes place on the third Sunday every month during our 9.30am service and provides an alternative, all-age worship style. We gather together as a community at the start of the service where we reflect upon our theme and then there is an opportunity to explore this in a variety of ways in small groups in the church. Our reflections and thoughts are shared as we gather again to worship and to pray for the needs of the world and our community.
We hope that you find our church community engaging and enriching and that you feel at home with us.
We serve tea, coffee and biscuits after all our services. It is a great way to meet people, or simply take time to find your bearings. All refreshments are free.
Accessibility: There is wheelchair access, and a sound loop for anyone who needs it. Please let one of the Welcome Team know on your arrival and they will help you to get set up. There are disabled toilets in the main foyer.
